NEW PHOTOS: EXTREME ANIMALS, CAPTAIN AHAB, FORTRESS OF AMPLITUDE, TIK///TIK, FOOT VILLAGE, & KEVIN SHIELDS AT WOMEN!!!

Brian & Eva & Ajax & Alph have the rockin’-est fucking house in L.A., and I really had a grand time seeing all these bands play on this fine Thursday night. Damn… it was crazy inside. Hot. Humid. Dangerous! Peter “Poolboy” Moran had to go to the hospital for an emergency patch-up after falling on broken glass. Several others got cut up, too, but fortunately they didn’t need medical attention. My all-white “spiritual” garb got rave reviews… and I even drank white-colored liquor.

Extreme Animals were the band everyone came to see, but (no offense—they rocked) Captain Ahab upstaged everyone. Fortress of Amplitude was also pretty amazing (I am a huge Muppet fan, so I loved the puppets.. the music was also surprisingly spiritual.. hey, it matched my clothes, ok!?), as was Tik//tik, and Kevin Shields. I never got any photos of K.S. 🙁 I arrived without batteries, but scored some in time to photo the other performers. Enjoy!!!
