VERNAL EQUINOX FEST NITE 2 IS A *HUGE* SUCCESS!!!

First off, I want to say thank you to all the underground music fans who rocked with us at Pehr Space on Monday night. Nearly 18 months after I began my Monday night concert series, we are still picking up steam, and it was great to see so many new folks—not to mention all the old friends and “regulars”—come out to support new music. It was a thrill to hang out with all of you!

Our Monday night mission remains constant: present the best, most cutting-edge underground rock and noise every week. This is a goal that will never waver.

Certain specific folks made the Vernal Equinox Festival the huge success it was: DJ Kyle H. Mabson, Adam & Darren from Pehr, my bf Richmond (who created the awesome, handmade wrist bands and ran the door), and Peter from Laco$te who drew the AMAZING fest flyer. Thanks, guys!

The bands on Monday were simply spectacular: Laco$te, Phoenix’s Treasure Mammal (who had Ezra from the Gowns sitting in), MVP and Mannequin Makeout from Denver, Your Mother’s Lover (stunning as a duo), Ex-Oblivione (is this band not INCREDIBLE or what!?) and Paris Hilton Motherfuckers, who did a fantastic job kicking off the show (and their clothes).
