This past Monday was super fun. A lot of people were like, “those bands went so well together!” And it’s true. The bands achieved a musically synergistic state. DJ Papa Scroach laid down the beats, Trudgers went first (and sounded like the Cocteau Twins…set on fire), followed by Aristides (their last area show…let’s hope not for forever because their punk rocks), moving on to The Choke (rock ‘n roll is contagious), and climaxing with Batwings Catwings (hard rock—the best kind: organic and spontaneous). I don’t think there was any better music on planet earth this past Monday night. Things were that good at Pehrspace.
