There’s so much happening in Los Angeles! Too bad some of the best stuff doesn’t get the best attention.

Now there’s a way to get people to pay attention and get yourself into the events for free: write about them in advance.

This August, I am seeking your help in profiling some truly exceptional artists.

Some of them may be old friends. Some will be totally new.

But, hey, you can learn some cool things either way.

ATTENTION WRITERS/PHOTOGRAPHERS/EDITORS:

If you think you have something fun and informative to write about anyone or anything on the list below, please hit me up! Your writings will be published on this site.

Here’s what I’m looking for:

-Each artist profile, short or long, or Youtube playlist post needs an opening paragraph about why the subject is great or interesting, as well as at least two different 640pixel-wide 72dpi photos (with photo credits).

-If you feel like you can help get the word out about an artist on the list below by the deadline, I will re-pay you with free admission to the event your artist is playing on (or another comparable event—please ask).

**If you cannot write an opening paragraph, or you do not feel comfortable tracking down two photos, or if you cannot meet deadlines, this is not for you. (And that’s okay.)**
