I was really impressed with the great great audience this past Monday. Everyone was operating on this other level that allowed them to evolve from Black Church’s bedroom psychedelic vibe, into Ilo Mar’s dynamic free folk/free jazz attack, into Team Andrew’s provocative song stories, expanding into space with Michael Vidal’s naked and soulful songs and guitar loops, then finally exploding into Davey “Mincemeat or Tenspeed’s” incredible binary-sounding party noise. It was an inspiring musical transformation over the course of about 2.5 hours and everyone was digging on it. I was proud. Thanks for coming 🙂
