One of the most shocking and entertaining performers I encountered in 2010 was Jason Kyle Knight, aka Kylemotron, aka The Emotron.

This young man from Georgia has dedicated his life to his rather genius Atom & his Package-inspired depressing pop music.

He lives out of his van, eats out of dumpsters, sells scat videos for cash, and lives a rules-free lifestyle that most of us just dream about.

I became fully immersed in The Emotron‘s world while making this video. I couldn’t shake his amazing punk pop music—nor stop thinking about his radical lifestyle.

Here’s Kyle, The Emotron. He doesn’t look too strange…

He has some funny tattoos.

And a proclivity to wear “tumor suits.”

Perhaps it’s his Southern Christian origins…

Or maybe a bad experience at school?

It’s all beside the point now—The Emotron has an eager posse of fans.
