Submit your events for the new CONCERTPAGE
Happy turkey day, everyone. Regardless of the origins this day, it’s a chill time to reflect.
I’m very appreciative of our music scene here in L.A. Most weeks I listen to nothing but music made by friends, look at art made by L.A. people, watch videos you make…etc. It’s a surplus of local inspirations.
I’ve tried to give back to the scene with CONCERTPAGE.ORG. It’s a D.I.Y. events list and full color poster that was so successful earlier this month I ran out of copies in the first 24 hours.
So I am printing another “test issue” for December (that means limited run of 500). I would love to publish your D.I.Y. events.
It’s easy to participate: go to CONCERTPAGE.ORG (or the new seancarnage.com/concertpage—see how you can embed CP anywhere?) and submit your events.
Then, on Friday December 3, they will be published on the back of an absolutely incredible full-color poster designed by Brendan Morrison (of the Real Noriegas). The image here gives you a little taste of what to expect.
The deadline for submitting is this Sunday, November 28 at 5pm.
Please pass this along to any show planners or bookers or bands you think might be interested.
I’m deeply discounting the ad rates (you can get a box ad for as little as $40) so you can also promote your newest project on the back of CP.
You can contact me at ADVERTISE@NEWMUSICARCHIVE.ORG if you’d like a price quote.
Otherwise, this is totally free so add add add your shows.
Happy Thanksgiving!
