NEW MONDAY PICS: GREAT BANDS, A LUNAR ECLIPSE, & MORE!!

I wanted to say “thank you” to everyone who came out this past Monday. It was a bit sad to not have all the regulars there (Devra and Jessica left for college, others were out of town), but the music was superb, and hats off to Foot Foot who capped a month of performances with their best night of music yet!!

I’m making a new movie—”FRIENDS IN OTHER DIMENSIONS”—the last weekend of September. It’s about how bands and fans form a complex network of friends. It is written by Andrew of the 14 Year Old Girls, and Bret Berg, and is to be released by the label Retard Disco next year. It stars 25 of L.A.’s best underground bands.

I need all the help I can get with this project!!

And you can contribute with your art, acting and organizational skills.

Each Monday in September, we will be meeting and building costumes and sets. We will have a band or two from the movie and a guest DJ.

Admission is $5 and the building starts at 8pm. Music is at 11pm.

No tools are necessary—just please come down and discuss and craft with us!!!
