Watch: Razak Solar System’s final show at the old Grog Shop
Razak Solar System—unpredictable. Experimental. Powerful. Noisy.
I loved playing with Steve and Kevin in this trio. I was so sad when we decided it had to end.
We’d been through a lot together in just over eighteen months.
Here’s a partial list: opening for Men’s Recovery Project, jamming with Lightning Bolt, playing behind a semi-opaque curtain, white knuckle shroomin’ and going green for the Green Party.
With nothing left to prove, we went out on a high note at the old Grog Shop on Coventry on Friday, March 16, 2001. It was our best show since our debut at Speak In Tongues.
Just one song played three times sequentially with improvisation linking the pieces. We were like King Crimson for latchkey kids. Yes for thrash addicts.

There’s really nothing more to say, except thank you for coming to the show!
