What can fans expect from the performance?
On Monday you can expect some blasphemy, metal chains, a large prop, partial nudity and a song by the Pixies. I will also be bringing a special package for the first five people who ask me for a “Bunnie gift.”

Hey Josie Bunnie—how would you describe what you do?
I am a burlesque performer, go-go dancer and art nude model. I like to entertain using the art of the striptease with lots of sassy comedy and detailed costumes.

Did you know you were going to be an entertainer when you were growing up?
I knew I was going to be an entertainer, but didn’t know what. I thought that maybe I would be a singer, or a song writer—but never a nudist or a striptease artist.

What are your main inspirations?
My main inspirations come from music and movies. I love listening to live local bands. I love Bjork and everything she does visually with her music. When it comes to photography, I started out doing a Playboy parody. Now I like to re-create things I see in my dreams and fantasies.

You’ve been in David Lynch burlesque and all manner of amazing show. Which have been the most unusual?
The most unusal show I’ve been in was the Wrong Show by the Victory Variety Hour. Musical about a teenage Hitler, dumpster baby routine, puking fetish…. lots of gross comedy and politically incorrect gestures. My favorite is Burlesqueland by Peepshow Menagerie, which they do every year. Two days of Disney-inspired burlesque and a day at the park.

Any other special Monday surprises?
I will be bringing a special package for the first five people who ask me for a “Bunnie gift.”

At what venues can we get teased by you some more?
You can also see me at Bordello on the 3rd Thursday of every month with Peepshow Menagerie. And occasionally at the Three Clubs with the Monday Night Tease. I will grace the stage at the monthly burlesque show at the Commonwealth Lounge in December.

The best way to be spooky and sexy this Halloween is to be nude and bloody. Or to be really, really cute and creepy… like a demented, dead bunnie!
